I have experience taking productions from concept to completion and can leverage my other skills with graphics and the web to make a variety of multimedia pieces. I’m available for freelance audio/video projects. Contact me today.
I’m currently producing videos and designing multimedia for a large insurance company in the B2B market.
It’s not like Geico but they are a big customer of ours. When you buy an insurance policy, it has changed a lot of hands to get to yours. This company is the middle man before it gets to the Geicos of the world. Fun.
Anyway, we buy pre-roll ads from InsuranceJournal.com that get played before each video on that website along with their YouTube and other channels. We bought placement for every other month in 2012. I may have just a few plays on my YouTube channel, but my total plays this year are well into the 10,000s. Keep in mind these are B2B insurance videos, but I try to keep them interesting.
Equipment: I use an Apogee MiC (iOS/USB condenser mic) for voice in my studio and in the field (or sometimes a Zoom H2) and a Canon 60D (along with a Canon T3i EOS 600D backup) with a combo of these lenses: Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM & Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM & Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM. For software, I use Adobe CS6 Production Premium and Final Cut.
To put this in context, the videos appeared with web banner ads that I designed. The banners stay on the page after my video is done. Below are some screen shots.
